Dr Ozluer has relocated from Turkey with his family on 1987 and graduated from University of Queensland Medical School on 1992. He has worked as a Junior Medical Officer at the Rockhampton Base Hospital and Princess Alexandra Hospital for two years. Later he became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and worked as a GP at Yeppoon, Brisbane and Gold Coast General Practices.
This is when he discovered his passion for Dermatology and worked 12 months as a clinical assistant at South East Dermatology, Brisbane. Later he was accepted to four years Australasian College of Dermatologists training program and worked as a Dermatology registrar at St John's Institute of Dermatology (London), Mater Hospital, Greenslopes Private Hospital and Princess Alexandra Hospital. He obtained his fellowship on 2004.
He has published articles on Australasian Journal of Dermatology, Clinical and Experimental Dermatology, Current Medical Literature, Annals of Dermatologie and Venereologie and British Journal of Dermatology. Dr Ozluer has presented at annual conferences of the Australasian Dermatopathology Society and Australasian College of Dermatologists. He has involved in clinical trials conducted by major pharmaceutical companies. He was an Assistant Professor at Bond University and currently is a Clinical Teacher at Griffith University. Medical students from both Griffith and Bond Universities attend to his private practice to gain Dermatology experience.
His outside interests are cycling and spending the day out on a boat at Broadwater with his wife and three children.
